Plamen
StratoLattice.

A polymathic research-and-strategy consultancy of one — with a few peers brought in when the work demands it.

StratoLattice is the working name of a one-person research-and-strategy consultancy operated by Plamen, based in Bulgaria, registered in the United States.

The work draws on a decade-plus of technical marketing for enterprise-tier organisations — including app and system design for Fortune 500 clients — combined with an active independent research practice across consciousness studies, quantum foundations, philosophy of science, higher-dimensional mathematics, and patterns of scientific rejection and vindication. The combination is unusual. It is also the point.

Most strategic consulting either knows the business but not the technology, or knows the technology but not the business. StratoLattice sits in the intersection, with the added discipline of treating uncertainty as a quantity to be calibrated rather than concealed. Every deliverable is written, every conclusion is sourced, and every recommendation comes with the strongest counterargument we could construct before defending the position.

The work is delivered in English by default and Bulgarian on request. The default working mode is asynchronous and writing-first. Video calls happen, but they're rare and short. The expensive thing is thinking, and thinking happens in writing.

/ The forthcoming book

Pseudo?science:
The Heretic's Ledger.

A catalogue of historical and contemporary cases in which the scientific establishment rejected a claim that was later vindicated — and an equal catalogue of cases in which orthodoxy was right and the dissenters were wrong. The point is the pattern: which markers reliably distinguish vindication-in-waiting from genuine pseudoscience, before history has rendered its verdict.

The book applies that pattern to live questions in AI, consciousness research, longevity, and frontier physics. It is the lens StratoLattice brings to every Pillar III engagement.

/ Working with peers

When an engagement calls for it, I bring in a small set of trusted peers — an award-winning security researcher, a founder of a leading Bulgarian platform, a leading research mathematician, and others. They are colleagues, not subcontractors. Their names are shared when a specific engagement makes them relevant. And if your problem isn't one I can genuinely help with, I'll say so — and make the introduction to someone who can, free of charge. Knowing where my expertise ends is part of the service.
